'82 and '83 were the only 2 years that would have had the roll forward style pop-up headlights, and the GT-S models were introduced late in 1982 for the '83 model year. the flares and wheels make it a GT-S rather than just a an ST/GT. '84 and '85 would have been this body style as well, but would have had the more standard flip-up style headlights with the black covers integral with the grille.
