Apparently in one of the books the truck is a 1953 chevrolet. |
◊ 2008-11-29 07:38 |
that truck doesnt in even macth the one from the book, i read the section about her truck, and it explains it was a 50's chevy with new paint, in the movie, that paint is crap, good truck, but a crappy paint job |

Actually after reading all 4 of the books while this truck is the wrong year the paint is spot on to what the book describes. Here is the Truck in the book: Bella's 1953 Chevrolet: ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-12-11 17:01:27 |

I think I found the real truck that was used in the film. http://www.picturecarwarehouse.net/home.php click on the "NEW" category, and scroll down a bit you'll see it. -- Last edit: 2008-12-15 22:36:59 |

Here's a direct link: http://www.picturecarwarehouse.net/details.php?id=5464 Although i wouldn't trust them on the year. They have the years wrong for many of the other vehicles listed on their site. |

Including this '58 Ford F-Series which they call a '59. http://www.picturecarwarehouse.net/gallery/a06fb89.jpg |

Kristen Stewart, who played Bella in Twilight (according to other sites covering the movie) apparently, liked filming the movie so much and was so smitten with the classic Chevrolet pickup, She bought an old Chevrolet pickup like the one her character drives in the film. |

Oh yes it is seen in about 6 scenes and is used in New Moon i saw it on some photos on You Tube so give it 4 stars |
◊ 2009-05-17 22:26 |
Maybe, but New Moon is a completely different book/movie, so it is not relevant in the case of this movie. |
THE BIG BOPPER ◊ 2009-05-21 23:15 |

That's like how John Schneider (who played Bo Duke) has his own personal replica of the General Lee. I heard that somewhere. |

As usual: C-10 [C1404] (½-ton payload, 115" / 2.92 m wheelbase, 6.5' / 1.98 m bed), C-10 [C1504] (½-ton payload, 127" / 3.23 m wb, 8' / 2.44 m bed) or C-20 [C2504] (¾-ton payload, 127" / 3.23 m wb, 8' / 2.44 m bed)? Apparently the same truck used in New Moon? None of the links given above works, and the only 1st gen. C/K stepside pickup Picture Car Warehouse still propose (but that seems to be the good one) is given now for a "1962 Chevrolet Step Side Truck". And it has indeed a long scratch (that seemed not to exist in the 2008 Twillight movie nor in the 2009 New Moon one?) where the 1962 fender emblem should be, plus a 1963 fender emblem. Plus a 1964+ grille ![]() And for what is to be seen, it could be a [C1504] C-10 as well as a [C2504] C-20, but most certainly not a [C1404] C-10. Cf. comparison here. - 1962 or 1963? If the truck rented by PCW is the one of this page, then the only remaining clue is the 1962-63 windshield. But the pickup of this page and its New Moon's twin have both 1963 only grille and fender emblems; - [C1504] C-10 or [C2504] C-20? If I'm not mistaken, there is no clue about the exact model; - If PCW truck is the good one, then no doubt on the Custom trim ![]() - Stepside bed option. ⇒ 1963 Chevrolet C-Series Stepside Custom? -- Last edit: 2014-10-09 22:53:55 |

Here's a link to the truck on Cinema Vehicles. They have another truck like this, but I believe this one is the original judging by some of the rust on it. https://inventory.cinemavehicles.com/inventory_item/c2661/ |
