Ingo ◊ 2008-10-08 18:08	@rljuna2: it's something self-cobbled, the parts could be from any other kind of car, tractor, machine or anything. You must know, that this scene was made in East Germany, the GDR - until 1990 the East Germans had nearly no chance to make a visit in Western countries, also not very many Western products -especially cars and their parts- were imported (the government, the whole country had no real money). So the people had to help theirselves.
Ingo ◊ 2008-10-08 18:13	P.S. For Western tourists it was forbidden to bring car-spare-parts into the GDR. So even this was no possibility to help your relatives or friends, when they had one of the very rare Western made car. Even for COMECON-made cars you couldn't bring parts (in the West you could get nearly everything for Skoda, Lada, even Trabant and Wartburg, easier and cheaper).
