Identified as Audi 100 Avant by "Audiclassic", main admin of the site Audiclassiche http://www.audiclassiche.net/club/news.php. and member of IMCDB too. So I think he's right and I think it's a 100 Avant too ("Avant" in the main name) -- Last edit: 2008-10-06 14:21:16 |

With the help of some "Audiclassiche" members (and DynaMike too ) we can definitely say that it's a Volkswagen Passat B1 and NOT an Audi 100 Avant. Yes, it was very difficult do tell. So... Now you can decide if delete it or not  |

@walter: you wouldn't disappoint me, or?  It's absolutely no question, that it's a Passat! Perhaps it's too easy for me as a child of the 70ies, whose father had for around 30 years several Passat's  It's a 1978+ facelift-version. The original hupcaps are missing, but by the metallic colour and the black back panel it's probably a GLS-version. *nitpicking modus on* And from the historical and technical view it's indeed an Audi. *nitpicking modus off* -- Last edit: 2008-11-23 18:01:01 |

That's definitely a Passat, as I've already told. At the beginning I thought it was an Audi 100 Avant (also an Audi fan of AudiClassiche thought so). With a small&blurry picture like this it was a bit difficult to say, as the Passat B1 and the 100 Avant C2 are quite similar by this view. Sorry for this indecision, we were a bit confused (also hard Audi-freaks like me can sometimes do some mistakes ) @ Garco: this is not the "deleted" Audi that I mentioned I'm afraid.
