 Another Sport Sedan. By the emblems on the hood this must be a 1950 model. The grille has much less chrome than on the US-version, so I guess this was a special version for Europe? Let's call it 'made for France' until better info is found.

 I already quoted this on the main page but:
Citation Despite the objections of Gene Kelly who wanted to shoot on location in Paris, the movie was shot at MGM Studios in California, on 44 sets built for the film. It was reportedly difficult for the studio to secure travel arrangements or locations for shooting. Two shots in the picture are from Paris, but they don't involve Kelly.

 Something interesting here - this car is soaped. Rubbing cars down with softened bar soap was a way to keep the overhead lighting on movie sets from being reflected in cars' paint jobs. After shooting, the car just got washed down.

 It was probably modified this way to resemble a Ford Vedette. An interesting detail that I doubt the average movie-goer would've noticed back then. This one's a '49, identifiable by the turn signals, doorhandles and rear badge.
