Made in South Korea, as filmed there. Was it named Hyundai then? |

We list them as Hyundai. /vehicles.php?make=hyundai&model=cortina According to @sonic_bang, the Granada "was built and sold as Hyundai Granada in Korea". /vehicle_196704-Hyundai-Granada.html |

I'm not sure about Hyundai or Ford branding. Badging always looks exclusively Ford in exact UK format - eg also http://www.flickr.com/photos/cortinachris/3292358253/ - but the present system works OK. If we change it, we need a solution which can accommodate their Granadas and 20Ms as well. I think leave as is, but knowing that we may not have a fully resolved policy. Another related question is whether it's worth using Marks for Hyundai Cortinas? Their assembly started with Mk2 in 67 so we'd need to decide whether to use a Korean sequence 1-4 or match UK with 2-5. Perhaps not enough of them to worry very much. |

So the Korean TC2 had the wheels and hubcaps from the TC1? |

Did the wheels actually change? I thought TC2 was just hubcaps removed with plastic trim over the boltheads. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not sure about the name given here. Maybe it should be "Hyundai-Ford" or something like that if we do need the distinction that it was made by Hyundai? The car was used in a chase and a few other scenes so should be probably be three stars. |
