I think the exploding green is an Ascona?

Actually, this is quite strange indeed. While the car on the big picture and on the first one of the three smaller ones is a light green Opel Rekord D (without vinyl roof,if you look closely), the car in the second picture of the smaller ones has turned into a Opel Ascona A with vinyl roof. Apart from that, the wheels/rims are also different- which underlines that two different cars were used/ destroyed in this scene. While the Rekord has quite plain and simple hubcaps, the wheels of the "flying" Ascona have more "sportive" rims. This seems quite odd, since the director and the producer of that film actually have a reputation for always being very accurate as far as equipment is concerned.....well, to be honest, I've always considered them to be over-estimated by the media.
