this is my 52 ford ,i got to meet gene hackman, and he was very nice! i was freaken out because my back window got busted out hauling junk skids from work to heat my home.so i put 2 bales of hay in the back to kinda camo out my mishap .the director loved it and wanted it front and center.i called home and told my wife i made 50 bucks per truck,i had 3 at the filming in new richmond,a 49 gmc dump bed,a 50 chevy suburban, used to block out a late modle car down the street they could not find the owner to move it ,and my old faithful 52 ford half ton,i said i made 150 bucks babe in cash she said good the blower motor went out on the furnace, and it cost 175.00 to call a repairman get your --- home!every one in new richmond thought we were goen to get rich with our trucks or extras .as we soon found out that was not the case! lol but was so much fun but at 10to 17 above 0 some did not want to start,6 volts were not made for such weather! |
