jettalover ◊ 2011-06-20 06:10	It's a "paper" plate the owner of the car receives from the new or used car dealership that can stay on the vehicle until real license plates arrive from the DMV. The owner can choose to remove these "paper" plates if he or she chooses. A temporary regisration from the DMV is placed on the windshield at the dealership. That must stay there until real plates arrive. Since this Escort is about 5 yrs old at the time of this movie, that's a "paper" plate from a used car dealership.
