Theres a behind the scenes video on youtube for this video, and although nothing is mentioned about the car, there is a shot where it's clearly french registered. |

When they play the video on the music channels here, on the shot of the front of the car, they pixelate out the SEAT badge! -- Last edit: 2008-10-25 14:29:42 |

Why? ![]() |

To avoid product placement of course |

Yes but it is obvious that they used a Seat specially for that, as product placement... then why not showing it? |

Because Ofcom, the UK media regulator, does not allow product placement on television. -- Last edit: 2008-10-25 17:21:20 |

The video for David Guetta's following single, Everytime We Touch, also features the Ibiza and there appears to be two versions of the video. One shows just a shot of the front of the car, with the SEAT badge completely removed, obviously done for showing on UK television due to product placement regulations. The other one shows the same shot with the badge unobscured, also a close up shot of the rear of the car, showing the badge and the Ibiza name. However, I have just seen this second version of the video on UK television, so it looks like MTV have played the wrong version...! |
