French Infantry Tracked Carrier..most were built by Renault and designated as Renault UE/AMX UE..but because the one in the picture dosent have the distinctive dome shaped covers to the hatches this is the version by Berliet, built 1938/39..in german hands, captured versions were designated Infanterie Schlepper UE 630(f)...so for the title of the vehicle, it should read as Berliet UE Tracked Infantry carrier...not strictly a tank, more of a tractor. |
