What a nice small Peugeot. ![]() I've set 2008 as year, as this car rather comes from the pre-serial production - so can be a bit different than this what they will introduce in Paris. It has an interesting stickers with "Hydrogen" inscription - better pics of it (at the bottom of this site): Link to "www.roadlook.pl" -- Last edit: 2008-09-15 16:46:27 |

As I read Ford don't give any infos about it, so nobody knows. |

If this is a pre-production car, it may have been built at a Ford or Fiat R & D centre rather than on the production line at Fiat Poland. -- Last edit: 2008-11-05 23:25:53 |

The prototypes for sure, but pre-serial cars were already built in Tychy since spring '08. Here is article about it, but in Polish: Link to "www.roadlook.pl" BTW. I wrote one assembly line, but it is not true - one plant. -- Last edit: 2008-11-05 23:55:44 |

Unfortunately, the Brazilian "new" Ford Ka is really a restyled first genearation ![]() It's not so bad, but in comparison to the European Ka... well... http://www2.uol.com.br/interpressmotor/imagens/18396.jpg Link to "www.carplace.com.br" |

After having had watched the movie, the Ka despite the subtle or muted appearance of a "Hydrogen" sticker on the hood (the Ford Edges have them too, well, at least one does), they all sounded like they might have been either hybrids or full on electric vehicles, don't believe me?, watch the scenes involving the Ka and the Edge, and, listen closely to the sounds they make. |

Or perhaps the director wanted the supposed hydrogen cars to have a special sound, and the sound editors fished out some electric motor sounds from their effects library. |

The sound of a car in a movie is a very easy thing to change. We had lots of cases of cars with fake sound. And a full electric car does not make sound ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-03-08 19:11:50 |

Always stupid is also the sound of squeeking tires - when the car drives on sand or gravel. ![]() Like here: /vehicle_3087-Citroen-11-Normale-1953.html (when they escape from the ground besides the prison. |

Even 007 is not safe from product-placement... |
