Yes, a very early Crown but the portholes are accessories and I am sure the grille has been changed. http://www.ewa1.com/md/ebb214.jpg It is odd though that a police car would be so different to the standard model. -- Last edit: 2008-08-12 11:06:13 |

I found this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Toyota_vehicles which includes a 'Toyota Patrol (1955 Police car based on Super, Master or Crown) - maybe this is one of these? |

Here is more http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/stepho/crownprd.htm which includes the fact that the Patrol was a Crown body on a pickup truck frame and had a longer bonnet to go over the six cylinder engine. This car is noticeably longer in the bonnet than other early Crowns. |
