zodiac ◊ 2024-02-13 19:52	A strange one, this. It has quarter lights which stopped being fitted in July 1973, but ribbed tail lights which were fitted from August 1973, as of MY 1974. I don't know if the rear lights can be exchanged between the models, but that might be the answer. It also has s/s wind deflectors on top of the side windows which prevents me seeing if those have an aluminium strip or not. Perhaps it doesn't have those, or perhaps the one on top of the rear quarter light is missing? Those strips are the only visible differences in such a picture, between the W115 (no strips) or the more expensive W114. It has painted rims! I thought all rims were painted black since the introduction of the big hubcaps in about January 1968.
