I assume the car is the 1941 Cadillac 62 seen elsewhere. The bike is a Harley-Davidson. I think we can see the tank badge which should give a clue to the approximate year. |

Here is a 1940 Harley Link to "www.khulsey.com" which seems to be the first year this style of tank badge appears. It has a chromed aircleaner. Here is a 1945 bike http://physiology.usouthal.edu/mbvmc/di2003/stocker%20knucklehead.jpg looking very similar. It has a black aircleaner. This cop bike appears to have a chromed aircleaner and is probably a 1940 or later EL knucklehead. -- Last edit: 2008-07-27 10:09:50 |

I agree, but the chrome strip across the tank going through the chrome bagde identifies it as an 1941 up model. If the air filter cover is black that points to 1945-46, but the movie appears to be shot at nights so it is hard to tell. The handlebar grips are white rubber pre-war style - so my bet is on a 1941 EL. |
