1955 or 1956? Whichever year or model it is, it's a hardtop sedan, so it has to be fairly high-class.

The 1955 had different side trim, an interupted upper line of the grille; this is a 1956 (see also the sharper tailfins). I'm not sure of the trim (Coronet, Royal or Custom Royal), but the hardtop versions were called Lancer.

The best I can make out the script says Custom, I think this is a Custom Royal Lancer. comments?

1956 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer ( D-63-3).The twin side mirrors were standard on Royal Lancers and Custom Royal Lancers.Coronet Lancers had only a left side mirror.
