I believe its a 'made-for-movie' London taxi (a Hollywood attempt at an Austin 12/4 taxi) based probably on another British car. The bonnet (hood) is too long for any 1930s taxi also the scuttle and windscreen design is rather basic. The taxi might have been built for a previous film and/or the scene might have been shortened when the film was edited. |
