vilero ◊ 2008-12-23 11:45	I think 3 portholes is Mayfair as this one found here http://www.automotivehistoryonline.com/Packard1952.htm , but with 4 portholes I only have found the model 1952 Packard Patrician 400 as this one here http://www.automotivehistoryonline.com/Packard1952.htm and this one here http://www.accf.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5049 . So, can be better a Patrician than a Mayfair?
Commander 57 ◊ 2010-09-01 20:48	Definitely '52 Patrician. Unique '52 trunklid ornament and only the '52 Patrician had 4 rear fender ornaments. The '51 had 3.

Quote Anyone know what became of Jack Palance's black 1946-47 Packard Super Clipper? He owned that, a '41 Lincoln Continental club coupe and/or '42 Continental convertible, a '37 LaSalle sedan, many others. Palance liked good-looking old cars you could drive in the real world. You may recall the Prestone antifreeze tv commercials Palance did with the above Packard 1976-77. This really was Palance's car. Wonder which he kept in CA or his soybean farm in Pennsylvania. We know about the Sudden Fear Packards, but we're not interested in his movie, just his real life cars. Link to "packardinfo.com"
