Small briefing about Daihatsu engined Innocentis: Sept.'82: 3 cilindri nomination (BL owns the Mini name and doesn't concede it for now).Daihatsu engine is 3cyl. 993cc 52DIN in 5500tr/min.Three trim levels:S (with old body and dashboard),SL and SE restyled inside & out. Oct. '83: 3 cilindri Turbo De Tomaso.Same engine with IHI compressor delivering 72DIN in 6200tr/min. May. '84: New nominations Minitre (one word) and new Diesel engine 993cc 37DIN in 4600tr/min. Oct. '84: New version Minimatic, with automatic gearbox two gears front. Jan. '85: Mini name comes back! New Mini 650.Same body but old dashboard and 2cyl. engine 617cc 31DIN in 5700tr/min. 650 & 650SE trim levels. Jun. '86: New model 990, major wheelbase and length (337cm instead of 316).Versions SL,SE, diesel SL,SE and 990matic. Jul. '87: 990 replaces everything except 650 and Turbo De Tomaso.
