Nitpicking mode on: Nordic is not the same as Norwegian. Personally I'm not a fan of the 'made for N' tag unless there's something visible that identifies it as such. For post-1980 Japanese cars 'made for EU' is usually sufficient. |

Okay I have adjusted to EU. |

However, you could argue that this one is made for N as it's green-plated. Green-plated means that it's only taxed for passengers in the front seat, meaning that it's got a retainer mesh wall behind the front seat and a cargo space in the back. Such cargo versions were almost exclusive to the Norwegian and Danish markets, and it was relatively common to see BMWs, Audis and even Ford Taurus Wagons converted into cargo vans back then. This was usually done in order to reduce the costs of importing such vehicles, and many customers bought the cars like this, sometimes for private use, or as fleet vehicles such as this Space Wagon here. This practice has more or less ceased for wagons and small MPVs in the last 15-20 years or so, but sometimes I see newer Jeep Wranglers or double-cabbed Ford Rangers and F-Series with green plates and retainer walls in place. |

I’m all for adding the tag in instances such as this. Our database might be a valuble (in my opinion we are already) reference for historians, car collectors, enthusiasts, young adolescence writing for school, and so on. We have some of the most obscure collections known to exist. |
