Sunbar ◊ 2008-06-09 16:56	UK military vehicles were commonly built also (but not exclusively) in left-hand drive even more recently than when the US supplied them in WWII. I guess whereas it was more practical to source LHD from the US during WWII, with UK forces commonly operating outside of the UK during and after the cold war period, trucks and Land Rovers were specified in LHD as well as RHD.
