Hatchback codes: EG3 - "Breeze" (1.3L carburetted) EG4 - "GLi" (1.5L EFI) EG5 - "VTi" (1.6L VTEC) Initially, there was also a GL with a 1.5L carb engine, and an Si with a 1.6L EFI, which I'm assuming also had the EG4 & EG5 codes, respectively, but I haven't been able to find one online to confirm. -- Last edit: 2021-04-28 16:50:04

In Australia, all hatches were EG. Sedans were either EG8 or EH9 depending on engine. Hatchback codes:
