It was never a common sight on German roads at any time, too. ![]() The "Big 300" was a car for presidents. In Germany it's, still today, known as "Adenauer-Benz", because the first chancellor after the war had such a car in use. There was one try to present him a BMW 501 - it failed, because Adenauer has lost his hat by entering the BMW. ![]() |
