Export market Side indicators (did the US ever have them?) |

No, definitely not. That's why they're called export side markers. -- Last edit: 2023-04-06 22:16:10 |

I wish there was more of the 1997 only Mountaineers. There are sadly not seen too much. -- Last edit: 2023-04-06 22:26:47 |

They were hunks of junk my man. We had one and it was in the shop more than on the road. I believe they were called lemons. Edit: i do like them though. Just not a reliable vehicle. -- Last edit: 2023-04-06 22:36:41 |

Basically, it is cosmetic facelift of Ford Explorer. |

Can confirm. My parents had a brand-new Willow Green Eddie Bauer Explorer in '96, it was a heap. They only kept it for a year and a half before they had enough. I often wonder whatever happened to it, and who the poor sap was that got stuck with it. I'll agree with the sentiment that it was a nice-looking hunk of junk. ![]() |

so, in other words, if Jurassic Park had been filmed 2-3 years later , the Explorer wouldn't need Dennis Nedry to stall in front of the T-Rex's paddock ? .. ![]() |
