Note that all sedans were seemingly fitted with CHMSL from 1987 onwards, despite not being legally required until mid-89. Interesting fact: the first car in Australia to have a CHMSL was the Nissan EXA, introduced in July 1987. Many people fitted aftermarket third brake lights to their cars, as some insurance companies at the time offered discounts for those who did. -- Last edit: 2018-12-13 11:24:22
