Mk2 Cortina confirmed. @Zodiac - that "Sunbeam Arrow" is a weirdo - the name was only used on Hillman Hunters exported to US. Looks as if that one was a poverty version Minx where the owner's puton some joke badges. |

Agree that Sunbeam Arrow was a strange suggestion. However, when I look at the one above, several things doesn't quite add up to the Cortina. Those are: the rear bumper (or sheet metal pressing), how the front lights protrude slightly upwards, possibly indicators beneath the front bumper, the distance between the front bumper and the grille, how the hood/bonnet drops towards the lights, and so on. For a while I thought it might be a modified Triumph 2000, but I really don't know. |

Sticking with Cortina - might even specify a Super for the over-riders, although they were dealer options on other trims. Shape looks exact match - subtle coke-bottle rise on rear cabin wing, wheel arch and sill profiles; indicators/sidelights are beside the headlights - I can't see anything under the bumper except some black paint (attempted rust treatment??). If the bumper is squint, it's probably because it's a knackered/battle-scarred example. |
