It's a really awful photograph. The truck looks to have a one-piece windscreen which suggests that it is a pre WW II Commer Superpoise, having a flat radiator and no faired in headlights. Incidentally, what is Benito Mussolini doing in a bowler hat in Borough Market? I thought that he had died by the time this film was made.

I wasn't even sure about the windscreen; I think the appearance of being one-piece may be a trick of the light. It also seems to have a radiator muff, which doesn't help. I didn't argue with Jean-Marc because, looking at the shape of the door, he might very well be right.
BTW Il Duce had a chin like that, but a longer nose ... :D

This "duce" is in fact a professional purchaser of goods for a famous restaurant in the city, there are many comments about him but nothing about his Italian past

Many years later but I agree with Commer Superpoise!

A 1939-1949 Commer Superpoise Q2 to Q6 (2-Ton, 3-Ton, 4-5 Ton or 6 Ton). Possibly a Q4 in this case considering some other trucks in the movie.
