jimjarron ◊ 2023-03-06 14:06	I just watched the original on YouTube and, after freezing the film at various frames around this shot, it looks like the paint split goes almost to the front of the car. In the 1500 Mark I and the Morris Major, the paint split ended above the wheel arch whereas in the Lancer it ended much further forwards. Later models of the 1500 did have a different paint split on the side, but the Wolseley 1500 was discontinued in Australia after 1959 and local production then shifted to the Major and Lancer, so none of the later cars would have been sold here. The picture is not perfectly clear, but my money's on it being a Lancer.
