This is a [LC2]. But however, this is Indonesia, the LC2 Accent were sold there for fleet only (mainly taxicabs) under the Excel nameplate. Officially called the Excel II, to differentiate the previous first gen Accent-based Excel. These were locally built here and Made for RI by the name. Seems the first year for these, in that market, is 2005. I can't find any 2004 models of this generation. Addendum for listing Accent-based Excels in Indonesia... - Versions based on the first gen Accent [X3] were simply called the Excel, ran from 2001 to 2005. - Versions based on the second gen Accent [LC2] sedan were called the Excel II, ran from 2005 to 2007. - Versions based on the fourth gen Accent [RB] were called the Excel III, debuted in 2012 but taxi usage started in 2013. |
