Not a Majestic - the wingline on those stopped on the front doors, leaving straight rear doors - but an earlier 50s model. Conquest, Conquest Century, Regency, and One-0-Four are all contenders. Vertical front quarterlights may remove Conquest and Conquest Century to leave Regency and One-0-Four, but I'm not confident. to any passing Daimler expert |

John, the car in the link is a Daimler. If it is "EKN" registration series as I suspect, that would make the car a "New" Daimler Fifteen (DB17). dsl, without knowing what type of transmission is fitted, it is impossible to ascertain if the car is a DF310 or DF314. Are there any interior photos? |

 Which leaves us with a policy choice: either[1] we remove all DF codes from One-0-Fours because we're never going to know what transmissions they have from outside views, unless extremely lucky and precise info snippets can be discovered for individual cars or [2] we stick as we are and assume all RHD One-0-Fours are DF310 and LHDs are DF311, so DF310 tacitly includes DF314 and DF311 ditto for DF315 (if such existed). I vote for sticking as we are, keeping the possibly leaky codes, because it's better than no codes. But it's up for debate and comments. |
