More info available: http://www.f100central.com/1955.html Six-cylinder engine (most likely 223 c.i.d.). Some kind of four-pointed star in place of V8 emblem. In fact, that center bar on the grille reminds me of the 1957 Canadian-market Meteor and Monarch passenger cars.
