dsl ◊ 2022-11-23 04:39	Most likely UK club rally Mk1 version with big arches is probably the Mexico - cheap and cheerful, and doing what it was designed for. 2nd choice would be RS 2000 for similar reasons, but they weren't used as much for this. Twin Cam too old and fragile for such use after 15 years. RS 1800 possible, but expensive and specialised, although some ex-works team cars had long club careers. Or it's a noddy one built up in back garden, but that's more difficult without the strengthened body ("Type 49") from a Twink, Mexico or either RS.
