It depended on which circuit they were racing on. The big guy on the left is Alfred Neubauer, the Mercedes-Benz team manager. 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196. There were several different versions of this - short and long wheelbase and open and closed wheels. It depended on which circuit they were racing on. The big guy on the left is Alfred Neubauer, the Mercedes-Benz team manager. This must be Fangio #18 at the 1954 German Grand Prix.
