Certainly not! I'd expect something like a Toyota Landcruiser etc. underneath... Like this: Now that's the concept. Proper name-calling (in the sense of an ID for chassis and coachbuilder, I mean) may take a little longer though... I have seen a very similar needle before, I just can't remember what haystack surrounded it ![]() |

This is the Autech creation. It looks like they were based on Nissan Safari (Patrol elsewhere) [Y60] chassis. (rokunonikumicyo.blog43.fc2) (jp.mercari)Not sure what it reads in the brochure above. It says Safari, but I can't read the rest. -- Last edit: 2022-10-27 13:47:10 |

I wouldn’t be seen dead in it. Horrible, tasteless, revolting, and that’s not me, it’s that piece of junk. |

It says ceremonial car... so, a hearse. |

I agree John, it'd be bad enough as is, but the gold trim pieces just look tacky. Less like a hearse, more like a gaudy pimpmobile owned by a gang member with zero taste. I'd rather drive a hot pink Fiat Multipla (the ugly '90s one) with spinner rims and lime green polka dots. -- Last edit: 2022-10-27 17:29:44 |

It reminds me of the crude vintage car replicas in Chinese films. |
