marklandynut ◊ 2010-06-23 19:14	I've just watched the film (again) and this Land Rover is only there for a short time. And, just to make life interesting, it is only seen from the back or reat quarter, and in every shot the side door hinges are hidden. In fact, from what can be seen I don't think its possible to tell whether this is a Series 2 or Series 3. I've gone through frame by frame and there's nothing conclusive. There might be a hint of a Series 2/2A hinge in a couple of frames, but its blurred and could be a reflection or shadow. Similarly, there's what could be the white edge of the Series 2/2A type dash tray across the bulkhead, but its not clear and could be a packing case. The only thing I can say is it has been restored (galvanised chassis/frame) and has Series 3 style door mirrors, but the mirrors aren't conclusive as they are a popular retrofit to earlier models.
