Larger I think; a four door / four seater tourer. Cropped an enlarged. |

BXE113 was a Hillman 20/70 tourer. Badge engineering didn't commence in the 50s! This could be the Humber version. /vehicle_983418-Hillman-20-70-1935.html -- Last edit: 2022-10-10 19:34:44 |

As far as I can discover, if it looked like this and had a big Snipe grille mascot from about 1933, it was a Snipe 80 (6 cyl 3.5 litre, OHC development from older Humber 20/70). If no mascot it was almost identical shape 16/60 (cheaper version with 6 cyl, 2276cc side-valve derived from Hillman Wizard). Bottom-hinged wipers came in 1934, and the BXE plate was March-April 1935. Later in 1935 (October??) 16/60 was replaced by new Eighteen. -- Last edit: 2022-10-12 23:18:57 |

1935 Humber 16/60 Tourer looks good to me? 1935 models had dual electric wipers-concealed, at bottom (at top on Tourer) from here https://classiccarcatalogue.com/HUMBER_1934.html |

There would be no dissent from me. |
