There is no such thing as a '65 GTO |

I know that, hence why I didn't put 250 GTO in the model name field, thinking that it might be a recreation which was built perhaps in 1965 (ok, not built specifically, but built on another 1965 Ferrari model) . Similar to this one. 3 side vents on each side would be quite unusual for an authentic GTO of this specific body, wouldn't it? They usually have 2 on each side. Call it 250 GTO Replica? -- Last edit: 2022-09-29 22:36:58 |

Agree, though no idea what year should this be entered as. 3996 cc engine must have been sourced from some other manufacturer, doesn't match any Ferrari engines in that period or later in the 80s. |

Perhaps DVLA shouldn't be too trusted when it comes engine sizes, especially with the older vehicles : /v333765.html /v171940.html /v811818.html |

The people who made this movie couldn't even spell "Ferrari" correctly so it doesn't surprise me that they didn't know that the 250 GTO ended production in 1964. |

Just noticed it. I'm guessing the person who submitted the movie on imdb misspelled it and I just went with it, as always Sometimes I put too much trust in people.. |

Just as a side comment, the 2/3 vent issue is not a reliable clue. Most only had 2, but some later ones had 3, and some 2 venters were upgraded to 3. And now some have reverted to 2 to regain originality. But am not arguing against this being a replica. |
