1965+ Ford Cortina Mk1. Chrome strips indicate Super trim, badge on rear wing? Always assuming, of course, that this décor is what left the factory. As far as I understand, the SUPER badge was triangular https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/LKQAAOSwzMphF8jp/s-l500.jpg and a derivative from the bigger Fords. It's a GT for badge and position. Some export markets - France for example - had Super chrome highlights on the GT, so looks as if J did as well. We have a couple of other Mk1 Cortinas in J - strangely all 3 are white. That's a 74+ front wing badge from a Mk3, also used on facelift Capri Mk1. |
