Sorry, John Looks like Ford F-350 to me |

Thanks. We are both fully jabbed up, so, aside from about ten days coughing, we were not desperately ill. I’d recommend all to get the jabs, minor side effects and good protection. We had cruised along the River Rhine from Basel to Amsterdam. |

Odd kind of bus, kind of like a semi pulling a trailer converted to fit passengers. Certain older firetrucks have the same set-up. |

We are both fine, thanks all. The Covid has gone, and we just return to the normal ailments of the aged! Since the object of an airport bus is to get as many people as possible moved over a quite short distance, articulated buses were commonly found on airports. |

This seems an odd truck to use as an artic tractor unit at a European airport. I wonder if it belonged to an airline who made the choice. -- Last edit: 2022-08-21 08:45:56 |

Right colours. |

KLM operated buses from different coachbuilders. This 1953 Unimog is combined with a trailer by Dutch coachbuilder Carrosserie Verheul of Waddinxveen, who als *might* have bodied the unit in question. |

I wonder if artic buses are popular at airports because of low--ish height? -- Last edit: 2022-08-22 17:54:13 |

Usually the pickup truck has 5th wheel for trailering equipment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth-wheel_coupling |
