MCW Metrobus with Alexander body. Not all Metrobuses were MCW bodied. New as Strathclyde PTE MB19.

Does symmetrical windscreen mean Mark.II? Or does that only work for MCW bodies??

After many years of bus spotting I have developed a theory about trying to extrapolate physical features like this into an identification or classification.

Don’t.

Photo of EUS 110X says "Strathclyde PTE had a liking for the MCW Metrobus ..... Alexander RH body on the Metrobus DR102/26 underframe"

So, what do we post here?

I can't find any Mark reference for Metrobuses with Alexander bodies across loads of online pics with various styles, so now thinking it only works for MCW bodies as 2 options - originally Mk1, then (as wiki etc suggests) additional Mk2 available from 82 alongside continuing Mk1.
