It could be a false registration or one transferred from an earlier Daimler to avoid the year identifier. edit: the DVLA lists the engine as 2548cc the DS420 was 4.2 litres so different vehicles. Chrome bumpers and chrome over-riders were fitted until December 1976, this car also appears to have painted coachlines and not chrome trim so after 1971 but before 1973 due to the round Daimler badges in the round inlet grilles. -- Last edit: 2008-04-17 22:51:52
