johnfromstaffs ◊ 2022-07-26 19:39	I think that this may be the 1956 Silver Wraith built by Hooper for Nubar Gulbenkian. It had a clear perspex top when new and appears to have been messed about a bit. It took me a little while to find this, as the headlight treatment, plus the French connection sent me into Chapron territory. -- Last edit: 2022-07-26 19:45:48

zodiac ◊ 2025-10-18 22:25	More information: The first owner was Mr Nubar Gulbenkian, an extremely wealthy business man of Armenian ancestry, and it was apparently built to when he spent some time on Cote d'Azur. The third owner was a Monsieur René Gourdon of Nice who at the late 60's bought the car to be used by his nightclub. He painted the car yellow which appear white on black and white captures.
