42-48 GM 2-door Fastback (Club Sedan for Oldsmobile, Aerosedan for Chevrolet, Sedan-Coupe for Pontiac). The lack of fender trim eliminates Chevrolet, the shape of the wheelarches and lack of silver streak trim eliminates Pontiac, which in turn leaves us with Oldsmobile. The rear appears to be of the bulbous type, and the rear bumper doesn't seem to wrap around, so I'd say a 1942 or 46/47 Oldsmobile 66 Club Sedan (1948 had different taillights). If we could see the side-window trim a little better I would be able to determine if it's a 1947 or not. |

Well, at least there appears to be trim on the front fender, making it 46/47 - maybe we'll settle at that, for now. |
