If it's 2233 KV then it's a 1931 Coventry plate... Reissued? Or am I misreading? |

Jaguar S-type, 1963. If the letters come first, it’s 1932 which commenced at KV381 and finished at KV3690, if the numbers come first, it commenced in May 1963. |

S-Type launched Sept 63, so an early one, probably factory plate. |

2233KV was the first rhd 3.8 litre 'S'-type built. It was used as a factory press and road test car. It sent to Henly's, the London distributor, in the mid-60s and sold. Registrations of all Jaguar press and road test cars were 4-digits followed by KV. Others a were 2300KV, 3279KV, 3339Kv, and 4200KV. Cheers, david PS: Anyone know where this film can be seen? or a DVD found? |
