As far as I know, Bedfords with double bumpers were called KM. https://www.flickriver.com/photos/62532775@N03/7783972566/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/62532775@N03/6929973557 |

Safe to say in this case its a KM, double bumper, double headlamps and wider wheel-arches. Although you could specify a TK with a double bumper (still with single headlights). Separately the TK was also offered with a deluxe cab based on the KM with better sprung-action seats, improved trim and better sound insulation. However double headlamps with a double bumper only applied to the KM I believe. Although the double headlamps looks an easy change the complete front panel was also specific and so not interchangeable with the TK's front panel. /vehicle_1051231-Bedford-TK-1961.html The Tarmac truck (thumb 5) without the double bumper is strange. It has the wider wheel-arches of the KM. However the headlamps themselves on the passenger side look distorted, and the Tarmac logos would be covered by the upper bumper. Perhaps a damaged KM repaired with TK cab/parts? The main picture has some 'Blue Peter' sticky backed plastic covering the front of the cab to obliterate the operators name I think. -- Last edit: 2022-06-08 17:46:53 |
