That generation Mondeo is gone, perhaps instead of selling the current one they decided to sell the Fusion instead. |

Is a shame not to have the newest generation of Ford Mondeo, I consider a better and refined car than the american ford Fusion -- Last edit: 2008-04-04 02:02:51 |

MK 2 not Mk3 |
◊ 2010-08-10 19:28 |
No, that's definitely an MkIII. |

Mondeo write history?? This is the third generation. The 1996-2000, until the MK1 / b! |

Seems you are right. For a while I was also thinking it is factory designation, but in fact it is not very official. According to Polish Wikipedia, although commonly named II, for Ford the 1996 facelift was still an Mk.I. -- Last edit: 2010-09-12 17:50:53 |

Yes. In 1993-1996, the MK1 in the 1996 to 2000, the MK1 / b! 2000-2007 is the MK2. The English Wikpédia is bad! Please improve everywhere because it is the MK2. And everywhere is poorly written, or two cases does not matter -- Last edit: 2010-09-13 14:36:35 |

Only I know what car it is! A new generation modelll what are the basic requirements: -New look - have -New interior - no -New chassis - no -New engines - there is a new but not much has changed http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mondeo is a translator translate into English! Oops! |

Many new models don't have all of these things. The current Megane for example is a re-skin of the Megane II for example. There are plenty of other cars in history that are very similar to their predecessor but are classed as newer models. I also assume it would be a total nightmare for the admins to clean the vast numbers of Mondeo's on the site and for those who contribute new pictures to remember the change in listings. Whilst I agree in theory with what you are saying I think in practice it would be difficult. |

It was the same for the Escort (Mk1,MK2,MK3, and so and so .....) |

You're right, In Argentina and Uruguay, are the only two South American countries where they sell the Mondeo. In the others opted for the horrendous Fusion. |

Bruno58! I do not care to escort me to the Mondeo care. This is mainly because it is the MK2 |

It is easy to do changes, but if most of the people use a system, why use another? Cf Wikipedia + a club of Mondeo owners use that. Are there many sources (links?) using other way? |
