This appears to be in England, probably in London. I think the registration is "CXB XXX" which suggests London 1935 and I think the ambulance is a cut and shut Buick NA. A lot of large saloon cars were turned into ambulances or trucks at that time, since their owners could not obtain petrol to run them. |

You may be right. Cut-away front mudguards are a clue. Hope it wasn't an 851S. |

I'd agree with Auburn, but suggest a 1936 852 Sedan. I wondered about a Buick at first, but the grille seems too wide. |

ironically, a similar vehicle, converted from a 1941 Oldsmobile convertible!!!! has just surfaced out of a garage in london. |
