chris40 ◊ 2008-03-24 16:37	No problem ... 1938-1949. They were cheap, simple and bomb-proof, and above all available almost immediately after World War 2; when petrol became too expensive to run the V8, operators often fitted Perkins diesels and carried on running them for years.
