ZA Clubman range started in August 71, and like UK this grille means normal saloon (and Estate) until black grille facelift arrived in Aug 77 (as happened in UK in May 76); both ZA saloon and Estate always had 1098cc (unlike UK which was 998cc until Oct 75). The saloon received this double pinstripe around July 75 (or perhaps slightly earlier); the wide arches in photo are boyracer additions, and look a bit silly with normal wheels. |
