No need for "by default" (I don't like defaults anyway). This is a Champion owing to lack of a side emblem. Commanders had a "V-8" emblem on the fender side vent doors. This is true for sedans. For the coupes and hardtops only, the Champions did have a circle S emblem on the rear fenders. |
